Query Letter…My Goodness Writing This is Hard

Consider this, you’ve spent six, twelve, twenty-four months writing your manuscript. You’re feeling pretty awesome tacking on that The End. You might even pop some bubbly, turn on the music and dance, dance, dance.

Then, you’re tasked with writing a query letter. That 50K manuscript now needs to be summed up in 200 words or less and written in a way that not only informs the agent and/or publisher about your story and inspires intrigue…

^_^ but I will not give up! You can’t in this industry. I have completed draft 1 of the query, posted it on a critique site, and am crossing my fingers that I’ll receive some quality, constructive feedback!

Woot woot!

Now time to ice my forehead.
