SF Writer’s Conference

The SF Writer’s Conference is next month, and I have some exciting news.

Dr. Ellen Taliaferro was offering a scholarship to cover registration, the fees for agent speed dating, the opening gala, and breakfast and lunches. In addition to all these generous gifts, they also set up a one-on-one meet and greet with a literary agent that represents the winners genre.

I found out last night that Dr. T selected me! What an honor!!! And the agent they’re setting me up to meet with? The amazing Laurie McLean from Fuse Literary.

Such a wonderful opportunity to learn about the industry, network with some amazing people, and possibly pitch Discovering Aurora to an agent. Even if I don’t get signed—dreaming big here (lol) but it’s all good—there is so much to take away from this conference.

Wish me luck, my friends! 2016 is starting off quite swell 🙂
