Word Porn: All The Light We Cannot See

The other day, I was at Barnes & Noble looking for a new book to read but had no clue which to buy. I wanted to be dazzled, to be breathless. Then I picked up All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.

The first page was enough for me to buy the book.

The narration is vivid and vibrant. Tone is conveyed within the flow of the words, the imagery set up. And the tension. *nose bleed*

This first page inspired me to work on my story. To write and rewrite as many times needed to make my readers feel the way I did when I read this first page.

Happy writing
